Também uma pesquisa da Universidade de Dusseldorf, na Alemanha, publicada no periódico The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, mostrou que os pacientes avaliados apresentaram uma redução do colesterol total, aumento do HDL (bom colesterol) e também da adiponectina, elemento anti-inflamatório produzido pelo organismo.

Contudo, os efeitos das mudanças climáticas no café selvagem, proveniente da árabica da Etiópia, sera sentida já no nosso século.
